Magician Mike Super, Finalist on America’s Got Talent

(Snow flurries are in the forecast!)

Known as America's Favorite Mystifier, Mike Super will be performing magic and illusions live at the Thrasher-Horne Center on December 26th, 2015. For a magical event the whole family will enjoy, plan to see this mesmerizing performance.
"One of our favorite entertainers!"
Walt Disney Co.
Mike Super has performed with Big and Rich, Louie Anderson, Train, and many other major league performers. On the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he helped the host to appear from nothing but shadows. The Magic of Mike Super combines art, theater, and magic.
"Two shows that completely sold out! An outstanding performance!" Casino Niagara, Niagara Falls, New York
Mike’s events incorporate video projection, cutting edge magic & illusions, dramatic lighting, and energizing music. It’s like a Broadway play and a rock concert in a family-friendly package. His innovative and interactive shows appeal to all ages.
"Mike Super is a consummate pro. There is great heart in this performance. Our very full houses have left singing his praises and clamoring for more!" The Paramount Theater, Rutland, Vermont
Family life is very important to Mike Super and he finds the inspiration for many of his tricks in his own life. “When I was a kid, my mother loved it when it snowed,” he says. “She's since passed away, but because of her love for it, I created a trick where I make it snow inside the theater over the audiences’ heads.”  His performance at the Thrasher-Horne Center may be the best opportunity to see a bit of snow in Northeast Florida during the holiday season.
"Creative, engaging, hilarious, and energetic!" The Honeywell Center, Wabash, Indiana
Super performs 175 to 200 shows per year, but when he’s home, he is completely focused on family. “I value my time home with my family, and I give 100 percent to that when I'm there. While I travel a lot, I can be home quite a bit too.  Unlike normal families, when I'm home, I'm home 24/7. Also, we get to travel quite a bit and they all can come with me.  We get to go on adventures together as a family.”

"The double standing ovation from our discerning patrons said it all! Mike Super rocks! " Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut
Garber Automall of Green Cove Springs is sponsoring the event. Mike will attempt to steal a vehicle from the dealership and make it appear on the stage with a snap of his fingers. If he is able to accomplish this impossible feat, everyone with a valid driver license in the Thrasher-Horne Center’s audience will have a chance to win the vehicle, courtesy of Garber Automall.
“Very entertaining! Very engaging! He connects to the audience!" Criss Angel
Mike Super has been honored in many ways.
2011 & 2012 Entertainer of the Year - The International Magicians Society
Entertainer of the Year - Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities
Best Performing Artist  and Best Male Entertainer- Canadian Association of Magicians

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, is Coming to Town on December 13th!

See the touring production bring this magical story to life at the beautiful Thrasher-Horne Center Theater.
Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, is the longest running television holiday special in history. The beloved stop-motion animated television classic made its network television debut in 1964, delighting audiences across the country. It has been on TV every year since.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Musical,  practically transports audience members into the television special as songs drive the plot while familiar and nostalgic set design with projections, costumes and characters are brought to the stage. “We address all of the familiar story elements from the television special with a talented cast and puppeteers who help recreate the magic on stage,” says Producing Partner Bob Penola.
For many families, watching Rudolph’s heartwarming adventure has become a holiday tradition that bridges generation gaps. Many people who grew up in the 60s and 70s have been watching it annually for their entire lives. Some have also had the pleasure of introducing their own children and grandchildren to the timeless story of Rudolph.
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Musical, had a very successful inaugural tour last year. “Because our run was so popular in 2014, we will have three tours this year in an effort to bring Rudolph and his friends to even more families and young theatergoers across North America. This holiday season, three North American tours will be visiting fifty cities,” says Producing Partner Jonathan Flom.
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Musical, will be presented live on stage at the Thrasher-Horne Center Theater on Sunday, December 13th. The first performance will be at 1:30 p.m. and the second will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Family 4-pack available for just $111
